Provide your venue with an estimated number of vehicles to ensure that their facility can handle the parking or if other arrangements should be made.
Will there be disabled guests who will require special accommodations?

Do any of your guests have special dietary needs?

Be sure to have all of your information ready including phone numbers, addresses, e-mail, etc. Make sure the caterers bid on the same menus, same number of staff, etc. to ensure that you're getting accurate comparisons.
Ask the caterer if you can come to an event and sample food.
Request a copy of the caterer’s liability insurance to make sure that all of your guests are covered at the event. Also, ask for a copy of the employers insurance to insure their staff is covered so you would not be held liable.
